We were looking for a realtor to buy a house in the area and we found Sandra Crittenden. We had been looking for a home for several months. We did not have an actual Realtor because we could not seem to find one that could or would consistently help us find a home. Sandra was the first to really listen to us. Find out exactly what kind of house we were looking for and where, and anytime a home came on the market that matched our criteria, made sure we knew about it immediately. She was ready to answer any questions we might have.

Our Agent Nick Matthews was recommended by a good friend. From our initial contact there was a genuine concern from Nick to meet our requirements. He possessed excellent listening skills, and we established a listing price together. Nick always communicated each showing and feedback from the selling agent. After we received an offer Nick guided us through the negotiations to reach a price that was acceptable for us and the buyer. All necessary inspections were scheduled by Nick Matthews and he was present for the various inspections. Also Nick was with us at the closing. Overall, Nick made the process of selling our home a pleasurable experience. We will be recommending Agent Nick Matthews and CENTURY 21 Nachman for anyone needing a Real Estate transaction.

We ran into a situation with a previous lender that was quite last-minute. It was such an overwhelming news that almost cost us the closing on our new home. Virginia Evans found us a reputable lender that helped save our circumstance. We appreciate all of the efforts she has made in the purchase of our new home. She kept in touch frequently, and answered questions we had no idea about. If there were any documents she had to retrieve and with no one to assist, she always found another solution. Virginia does her very best to get the job done.

Theresa was very very knowledgeable and kept us informed on all inquiries. Sometimes we got discouraged because it was an older home and needed some updating but all in all Theresa did a very good job for us!! Very satisfied.

Melanie worked very hard to see that everything from start to finish was taking care of. Melanie met all of our needs on a business level and as a friend due to the loss of our mom. I was selling my fathers house after I had moved him to assisted living near me in New Jersey. I did not have an agent to use in the area. My wife's friend who lives in Chesapeake Va recently became an agent and referred me to to Theresa to sell my fathers home. Let me tell you. Theresa was the absolute best to work with. Me being in NJ and not Virginia Theresa took care of everything. I never had a worry at all. She coordinated finding a contractor to make repairs to the house, a cleaning service and any other service I needed. Her professionalism is beyond reproach. If there ever is to be a real estate agent Hall of Fame Melanie Whitehead deserves to be there! My wife and I have never purchased a home before, and she took the time to get us as a family and our needs. She was always willing to help and answer all of our questions, she was always available and helped us understand every step of the home buying process...she is a consummate professional! My ordeal began right as the market was about to go crazy. I had been working extremely hard to get my credit straight and recover after a very rough 10 years.

I started with a realtor who was new and thought he would be eager to help me. Not the case. I talked with more than 10 realtors within a year time. Everyone of them quickly blew me off once they knew I was not goin to make them easy cash. My favorite story was the new realto. He was supposed to meet me and show me a house. I took the afternoon off and was leaving to go, received a text stating he just bought a new truck and didn't want to put miles on it, so the realtor selling the house would be meeting me. When getting to the address which was an hour away, I get a text from the other realtor stating that she was showing another house and left me the key on the porch. I went into this person's home alone and had access to the whole house.

I was just completely dumbfounded at the unprofessionalism and disgusting unconcerned behavior.

My daughter had a friend, who was a realtor for Century 21 and spoke with her about my situation. Her name is Sydnie and she lives in the Virginia Beach area. She told my daughter about Melanie Whitehead and said that's who I need to speak with.She sent me the contact information.
